The Brandeis Lawyers Association Scholarship Fund, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization, is dedicated to assisting law students with their financial needs while at the same time, recognizing the outstanding efforts that they have made to the public and their academic achievement. Each year, the Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to two second year law students with such qualifications.
The scholarships are given in memory of Justice Moses M. Weinstein, a distinguished jurist and legislator, and Jerome Ginsberg, an outstanding and able attorney, both of whom were dedicated to serving the legal community and the community at large and both of whom were long time, active Brandeis Association leaders.
We are all aware of the enormous cost of attending law school and the resulting mountain of debt accumulated by law students. The size of the Scholarships are determined by the amount of your contributions and sponsorships of events. We are proud to say that over the years, through the generosity of contributors and sponsors, the Fund has been able to increase the size of its scholarships substantially. We hope that in the future this trend will continue as the costs of attending law school continue to increase.
